Penn Blames Pride, Alcoholism For Divorce From Madonna
Oscar wining actor Sean Penn has blamed his pride and excessive drinking for the end of his marriage to pop star Madonna.Penn married Madonna at the height of her fame but they got divorced four years later. He believes he really didn't know Madonna when he was married to her and cannot remember having a 'single conversation' with the singing sensation, contactmusic.com reports.
He said: 'She was a phenomenon but nothing could have told anybody what would happen next. I describe that marriage as loud. That's how I remember it. I don't recall having a single conversation in four years of marriage. I've talked to her a few times since and there's a whole person there. I just didn't know it.
'I was just living in my own head. Who was it that said 'Men are vain, particularly young men'? I liked to drink a lot. I'm not saying it was meaningless. I've carried over the lessons to things more applicable now.'
Nicole Wants To Team Up With Chris Martin
Singer Nicole Scherziner of the Pussycat Dolls wants to team up with Chris Martin of Coldplay to complete her 'British songwriting mission'.Ananova.com reports her saying: 'I just need to work with Chris Martin to complete my British songwriting mission. That would be amazing.'
Nicole has already worked with other rockers like Gary Lightbody of Snow Patrol and Tim Rice-Oxley of Keane.
Lohan Kisses Three Men In One Day
Controversial actress Lindsay Lohan was spotted kissing three different men in one day while holidaying on the island of Capri.Lohan was first spotted kissing waiter Allesandro Di Nunzio just after she arrived on the island, the sun.co.uk reports. A few hours later she was seen kissing Italian actor Eduardo Costa and then later Dario Failla.
'Lindsay certainly likes her men and judging by her efforts over the weekend, they love her too. She wasn't content to share a snog with just one fella - it seemed like she wanted them all. She certainly set tongues wagging,' said an onlooker.
Lohan is reportedly seeing music producer J.R. Rotem who had in the past dated troubled pop star Britney Spears.
Katrina And I Will Make Striking Pair: Neil Mukesh
Katrina Kaif, who's paired with Ranbir Kapoor in Raj Kumar Santoshi's 'Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani', seems to be getting into the let's-get-young mode.She has now been signed to star opposite Neil Nitin Mukesh in Yash Raj banner's next venture to be directed by Kabir Khan and the hero says they will make a good couple on screen.
'Kabir made a very unusual film 'Kabul Express' for Yash Raj earlier. This time he's going all-out to make a commercial film. I think Katrina and I will make a striking pair,' Neil told IANS.
All her earlier films have been primarily with the 40-plus Salman Khan, Govinda and Akshay Kumar. Now she's finally working with co-stars nearer her own age.
'I wouldn't know about that. My bonding so far has been with John. I really get along with him. He's so funny and entertaining. Somehow, he reminds me of Dharamji (Dharmendra) with whom I did my first film 'Johnny Gaddar'. The same towering personality, physique and a heart of gold,' said Neil.
Let's hope the initial camaraderie lasts through the film. Considering what happened to John's friendship with Arshad Warsi during Khan's 'Kabul Express' one wonders if Neil would be singing the same tune by the time he and John finish shooting together.
