Seems like actress Katrina Kaif found a new man in her on screen life in Ranbir Kapoor. After giving number of hits with Akshay Kumar, Katrina is trying to create the same magic with Ranbir Kapoor as both of them doing three films together. Both the ctors who have already started working on Rajkumar Santoshi’s Ajab Prem Ki Ghajab Kahani and Prakash Jha’s Rajniti are about to sign third film together. The third film will also be directed by Rajkumar Santoshi and is of a serious kind.
Katrina is playing a hysterical role in Ajab Prem…, while an articulate orator in Rajniti. Playing the role in Ajab Prem… was not easy for her, but when the director stepped in to give the necessary comic lessons then everything was fine. “Raj Santoshi had to show me how to do the broad comedy from Andaz Apna Apna, which Salman and Aamir had done earlier. He would actually show me how to gesticulate and roll my eyes. Once I got the hang of it, I was fine,” said Katrina.
However for Ranbir it was easy to play the role, as he has inherited the skills form his late grandfather Raj Kapoor. Talking about Ranbir, Katrina said, “Since he’s a natural inheritor of the Chaplin and Raj Kapoor school of acting, Ranbir was spot-on. He plays a bumbling do-gooder very much like Chaplin and Raj Kapoor. It was fun watching him do the goofy, clumsy scenes so smoothly.”
Well the audience will give its verdict about the pair only after the film release.

Priyanka Chopra
Actress Priyanka Chopra recently demanded a high pay of 5 crore for Sanjay Gadhvi’s 7 Days In Paris opposite Imran Khan. Her demands are increased may be because her current recognition at various award functions and as she has managed to grab the amount of Rs. 3 crore from Yash Raj Films for Pyaar Impossible along with Uday Chopra. The director and producer were already in trouble when Katrina left the film disapproving the script. However they got shocked more when Priyanka demanded such a high sum. Eventually she lost the film.
A source said, “The producers were shocked when Priyanka asked for such a huge fee. They tried to reason with her but she refused to relent.”
However official spokesperson of Priyanka said, “Priyanka has not been offered Gadhvi’s film.”
Meanwhile the producer may rework on the script and make a final call to Katrina when done with the script. Katrina had left the film because the director had made changes into the script after insistence of actor Imran Khan, with which she was not satisfied. They are also in talks with South actresses Asin and Genelia D’Souza for the same. Shooting for the film will start in early next month.

Well guys it’s not any new chat show like Koffee with Karan, but guess with whom Bipasha is enjoying coffee these days. Well it’s Maradona Rebello. Again it’s not the footballer but the boy is Indian who is named after Argentine football legend Diego Maradona by his football fan father. Maradona Rebello is making his debut opposite Bipasha Basu with a film called Pankh. However, Bipasha called the debutant at her place for a cup of coffee to make him comfortable around her.
One of the unit members revealed, “Maradona makes his debut with Bipasha. So, when she came to know of his anxiety and nervousness, she called him over for a cup of coffee at her place. Bipasha shared her work experiences with him and told him that the cast and crew were there to support him.”
Well, after the conversation Maradona in not on ground and feels like on Cloud no 9, reveals a unit member.

Salman Khan is not so supportive to his lady love Katrina Kaif, when it comes to watching her films. Salman haven’t seen any of Katrina’s film yet and will also not watch her recent New York for which she has been appreciated. Many a times Katrina tries to convince him to watch her film, but the actor is reluctant to it.
A close friend of Katrina said, “It really puzzles and hurts her why Salman chooses to ignore all her films. It isn’t as if he doesn’t watch any films. He does. But when it comes to Katrina, he seems to suffer from a mental block. He won’t see her films.”
May be Salman don’t like to watch her romancing with other actors. However Katrina’s close friend again reveals that Salman don’t even like the thing if Katrina wears the slightest of revealing clothes and asks her to go and change.
Seems like Salman feels a mental block when it comes to Katrina’s films. But strangely he has not seen a single film of the actress. On the other hand Katrina didn’t miss any of Salman’s films. “She doesn’t miss any of Salman’s films. Shahid Kapur is facing an identity crisis, literally. Not in real life though, but in the virtual world. Like many celebs who have been shocked after they found out that people have opened fake profiles under their name on social networking sites like Orkut and Facebook (see box), Shahid is fuming about the fact that he is being impersonated on Twitter. A source close to the actor tipped us off, “Shahid’s identity has been stolen by someone in virtual space and Shahid has not taken this lightly. The problem is that this particular person who has opened an account in the name of Shahid Kapur has been connecting with his fans and posing as if he is the real Shahid.
This is a clear case of impersonation as well as cheating many who adore the actor.The insider adds, “Shahid wants to nip this problem in its bud. He is worried what if this someone might end up using his name to con someone or does something which is not socially correct thereby denting his brand name. The real Shahid could land in trouble.When contacted Shahid confirmed, “My friends brought to my notice that there is a profile of Shahid Kapur that is active on Twitter, and this person has been connecting with my fans who don’t know that the ID is fake,” he states.
Our sources say that if the fake ID is not deactivated soon, Shahid might take up the matter with Indian cyber crime police authorities.

If things were’nt heating up already, the latest twist in the Piryanka Chopra-Aishwarya Rai-IIFA tale is the new revelation my Jaya Bachchan. Recently, Ashutosh Gowariker had raised questions over the choice of Best Actress award being given to Priyanka Chopra for ‘Fashion’ instead of Aishwarya Rai for ‘Jodhaa Akbar’ on the IIFA stage. Jaya Bachchan has spoken out in the media that it was her opinion to raise the question of ‘Why Aishwarya has not received any award?’ on the IIFA stage and had prompted Ashutosh Gowariker to bring open their unhappiness.
Interestingly, Jaya Bachchan has not seen the movie ‘Fashion’ and hence has no clue about Priyanka’s performance in the movie.We wonder how she was able to reach the conclusion that her bahu was better in the performance tha Piggy Chops without revieweing it herself ? Or was it just a case of sasu-ma supporting bahu darling and not a critic judgement? Either way, we find this behaviour highly immature and biased.
Looks like the Khan Brothers Sohail Khan and Arbaaz Khan don’t need elder brother Salman Khan anymore. For his latest home production ‘Kissan’, Sohail Khan didn’t cast Salman Khan even for the role of special appearance. When asked the reason behind doing so, Sohail Khan said he didn’t want to corrupt the film by using too many super stars in the film. Salman Khan, who is well known in the industry for not only being a good actor but also being a good brother too, is left all alone by his siblings today.
Sohail Khan said that he did not cast Salman Khan in the film, as it was not required by script and as he has something nice to put across to the audience he didn’t want to corrupt the film buy casting his big brother Salman Khan in it. Salman Khan has always been a part of Sohail Khan’s home production. Be it films like Hello Brother, Heroes or Hello, Salman Khan has done his bit of being available for his brothers and promoting their movies.
Then why is it that the Khan Brothers don’t need him this time. Is it the fear of Salman Khan snatching away their part of attention from the audience or is it something else?
Shah Rukh Khan is in no mood to take any more chances with his health. His film, Ra 1 to be directed by Anubhav Sinha, will only go on the floors next year as Shah Rukh has not recovered fully from his shoulder injury. As a result, the film will roll in mid 2010 instead of September 2009. A source said, “SRK has been suffering because of his shoulder injury. He had injured himself on the sets of Dulha Mil Gaya a few months ago. After his surgery, SRK started shooting for Karan Johar’s My Name is Khan, which he will soon complete. However, he decided to temporarily put Ra 1 on hold as he is required to do some serious action sequences in the film.
SRK decided to push Ra 1 to 2010 after he recently went for a check-up in the US where he is currently shooting for Karan’s film. After the check-up, SRK felt the time is not right to do the action film as there is quite a high risk that his injury will aggravate if he doesn’t take it easy. Now, SRK has decided to first start Farah Khan’s film Happy New Year.This is the second time that Ra 1 has been put on hold. It was first supposed to go on the floors in February 2009 but was pushed to September due to SRK’s injury. The actor was so excited about the action film that he had planned to go on a strict diet to get in shape.
Shah Rukh plays a superhero in Ra 1, which is full of SFX and state-of-the-art gizmos just like Bond films. SRK was so excited about this science fiction film that he had even suggested the title. Director Anubhav Sinha patiently heard us out and promised to call back but he was later unavailable for comment.
Looking at the Yash Raj banner’s Kabir Khan directed next, New York, one can make out Katrina Kaif, Neil Nitin Mukesh and John Abraham play college mates & can only imagine how rocking, carefree & popular would Katrina be in her college life. We get curious to know about the most dangerous ladies college time tales. And if she had any romantic links ups, late nights which are a trademark of college life.But we were totally surprised because this was the first time Ktarina was playing a college girl in reel & real life.
At the press meet of New York at Yash Raj Studios recently, we asked Katrina about her New York experience and her playing a college girl.Here is what Katrina told us, “When I landed on the sets of the film on the first day I felt that I was a misfit here. The success of Singh Is King was still hovering over my head. I had done hardcore commercial ventures and here I was on a film that was entirely different from what I had done before.Gradually working with Kabir, John, Neil and Irrfan became so comfortable that I did not want to leave the sets and go back home.
I have never been to college in my life since I started working at the age of 17 I had to pay my rent and take my financial responsibilities. Here I had all the fun that University kids have while studying. I was there on the sets with not much make up and simple clothes. The film really took me by surprise.”
The latest issue of Empire magazine has the first pictures of Megan Fox as a demon-possessed cheerleader in Diablo Cody’s new movie “Jennifer’s Body,” in which Megan has a lesbian love scene with co-star Amanda Seyfried.
