Do Akshay Kumar and Nicolas Cage look alike? ?

Mumbai, June 24: Do you find any resemblance between desi khiladi Akshay Kumar and videshi Nicolas Cage? According to reports, onlookers mistook Akshay for Hollywood hottie Nicolas Cage, while the former was shooting for upcoming ‘Kambakkht Ishq’ on the set of ‘Fast and Furious’ in Hollywood studio.



The crowd reportedly applauded the star as he performed thrilling and fast paced action scenes with élan.

Akshay plays a stuntman in ‘Kambakkht Ishq’ and has performed some very dangerous stunts in the flick. The crowd, which assembled on the set of ‘Kambakkht Ishq’ went gaga over Akshay’s talent, thinking that he was Nicolas Cage.

According to a source, "When producer Sajid Nadiadwala was shooting for ‘Kambakkht Ishq’, he happened to come across the set of ‘Fast and Furious’ in the Hollywood studio. That`s when the idea of using the set and car occurred to him, so Sajid quickly got his unit to shoot Akshay`s action scene there. Little did he foresee that the onlookers would presume Akshay for Nicholas Cage. When they all began screaming `Nicholas Nicholas` and waving excitedly at him poor Akki did not know what to do but waved back at them hoping that they would know that he is Akshay Kumar and not Nicholas Cage."

May be, the worldwide release of ‘Kambakkht Ishq’ will make Akshay a known face and save him from such nice yet embarrassing situations.
